A new era in verified property access and digital real estate transactions has begun with the official launch of IGetHouse, a technology-driven platform aimed at transforming how people discover, validate, and purchase properties across Africa.
The innovative platform, developed by IICOCECE Properties & Investment Ltd, was unveiled on Saturday evening at the Civic Center, Victoria Island, Lagos, marking what stakeholders described as a major leap toward transparency and trust in Nigeria’s property market.
Speaking at the launch, the General Manager of IICOCECE Properties, Mrs. Faith Olumba, said the platform was created to address long-standing issues of fraud, opacity, and complexity in property acquisition, especially for Nigerians in the diaspora.
According to Olumba, “The real estate market in Africa is full of potential, but for too long, access has been hindered by fraud and logistical challenges. “With IGetHouse, we are changing that, one verified listing at a time. We are opening doors of trust, particularly for Africans abroad seeking credible investment channels back home.”
Designed with user experience at its core, IGetHouse offers a mobile-friendly interface that allows prospective buyers, renters, and investors to search for properties by location, price range, amenities, or listing type. Each listing is verified through the company’s internal network and its accredited real estate partners across major Nigerian cities.
Beyond property discovery, the platform integrates features such as personalized dashboards, curated property recommendations, and contactless inquiry options, ensuring a secure and seamless experience.
Mr. Ayodeji Peter Falope, Public Relations Officer of the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) Alumni Association, who attended the launch, described IGetHouse as “innovation rooted in relevance.”
“This is the kind of forward-thinking solution the real estate industry needs, especially for professionals and entrepreneurs looking to invest with confidence,” Falope said.
According to the promoters, IGetHouse is part of a broader initiative by IICOCECE to democratize property ownership for the middle class and foster collaboration among developers, investors, and financial institutions.
With growing interest from real estate agents and diaspora investors, the platform’s developers say plans are underway to expand its reach to other African cities, introduce mortgage and financing options, and create a verified agent network for ground-level support.
The launch event attracted property developers, investors, and industry stakeholders who hailed IGetHouse as a timely intervention in a sector often marred by credibility concerns.
The platform is now live and accessible via their official website.
