NCDMB renovation project brings new lifeline to Kebbi schools

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has boosted educational development in Kebbi State with the renovation and upgrade of facilities in two primary schools in Argungu Local Government Area.

The intervention, executed by Grufix Global Limited, is part of the Board’s wider effort to enhance learning environments and improve the quality of life for Nigerians.

The renovated projects were formally commissioned yesterday at Sariki Samaila Model Primary School, Argungu, and Tungar Marina Primary School.

At Sariki Samaila Model Primary School, the upgrade included a fully renovated block of two classrooms with an office and store, a block of four toilet units, a solar-powered borehole, three-seater classroom chairs, and learning materials such as school bags, books, shoes, pens, and other essentials.

Tungar Marina Primary School also benefited similarly, receiving a renovated block of four classrooms with an office, four new toilet units, a solar-powered borehole, classroom furniture, and assorted learning materials for pupils.

Community members expressed delight at the improvements, noting that the renewed facilities would significantly enhance learning conditions for children in the area.

The Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Samaila Muhammadu Mera, represented by Alhaji Kabiru Suleiman, applauded the NCDMB for its commitment to community upliftment. He said the upgraded schools would make learning more enjoyable and help motivate pupils to attend classes regularly.

The project marks another milestone in the NCDMB’s community development initiatives and is expected to create lasting impact on education and community welfare in the benefiting areas.
