The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in collaboration with Oke-Eze Increase Nigeria Ltd, has successfully concluded a capacity-building programme on Solar-Powered Cold Storage and AgriTech Solutions in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The training, which wrapped up on Friday, was designed to equip participants with hands-on skills in deploying solar energy for cold storage systems and agricultural technology innovations—critical tools for reducing post-harvest losses and improving food preservation across the country.
The initiative reflects NCDMB’s ongoing commitment to entrepreneurship development, youth empowerment, and the expansion of local content beyond the oil and gas sector into emerging fields such as renewable energy and digital agriculture.
CEO of Oke-Eze Increase Nigeria Ltd, Eze Ella, expressed gratitude to NCDMB for the strategic partnership, noting that the knowledge and skills gained would have long-term benefits for participants. He emphasized that the training would enable beneficiaries to improve their livelihoods, generate income, and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s growing green economy.
The programme aligns with NCDMB’s broader goal of developing local capacity and supporting sustainable development, while opening new opportunities in renewable energy and AgriTech to drive economic diversification.
