It was a memorable celebration of love, faith and family, as Chidinma Achudume and Aduragbemi Lawal tied the knots at the Victory Life Bible Church International in Abeokuta. The event drew a diverse gathering of guests, including government officials, religious leaders, and well-wishers to celebrate the couple’s union. Among those present were the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, and Chief (Mrs.) Bola Obasanjo, wife of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Bishop Taiwo Adelakun led the ceremony, delivering a sermon titled “Seven Things A Couple Must Do To Get It Right”, highlighting the importance of prayer, teamwork and communication. Pastor Matthew Asimolowo also spoke at the ceremony, reminding the newlyweds to nurture their love and affection, noting that the heart finds its home where love resides.
Representing the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi also offered words of encouragement. Also, Engr. Gideon Ikhene, Chairman of the occasion, advised the couple to keep the flame of love burning brightly.
The celebrations continued into the evening with a lively reception marked by music, dancing and joyous company. The couple expressed gratitude to everyone who supported their journey, promising to prioritize faith, love, and mutual respect as they begin their new chapter together.
