Bellazir Energy Limited, in collaboration with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), has launched a specialized training program focused on Fire Alarm, Gas Detection, and Access Control Technologies.

The initiative is designed to equip Nigerian youths with practical, industry-relevant skills that will strengthen local capacity and improve employability within the oil and gas sector.

The program forms part of NCDMB’s ongoing efforts to deepen local content and advance technical expertise across the industry, in line with its mandate to achieve 70 percent in-country value retention by 2027.

At the end of the training, participants will be added to the Board’s skills database for potential engagement by service and operating companies.

Several trainees expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity, pledging to make the most of the program and apply the knowledge gained to contribute to Nigeria’s growing energy sector.
