In a ceremony held at the 35 Artillery Brigade Officers’ Mess, Alamala Barracks, Abeokuta, Prince Ambassador (Dr.) Adedipe Dauda Ewenla, a technician surveyor, real estate investor, and security consultant, was inducted as an Honorary Member of the Brigade’s Officers’ Mess.
The event, which took place during the Tombola Night at the Vulcans Officers’ Mess, drew military officers and dignitaries from across the country.
The Garrison Commander, Colonel Okoi, who represented the leadership of the 35 Artillery Brigade, presented the Honorary Membership ID card to Ewenla, commending his support for community development and civil-military cooperation.
The 35 Artillery Brigade Officers’ Mess, known for its emphasis on discipline, excellence, and professional ethics, reserves honorary membership for civilians who have demonstrated leadership, integrity, and contributions to national security and social welfare.
Following the induction, Ewenla expressed his appreciation, describing the recognition as a call to further service.
“I am deeply honoured to be welcomed into the 35 Artillery Brigade Officers’ Mess family. This recognition inspires me to continue supporting our gallant officers and contributing to the peace and unity of our nation,” he said.
The honorary membership, according to the Brigade, serves to strengthen collaboration and mutual understanding between the military and civilian community.
