Personal Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Special Duties, Alhaji Kamorudeen Yusuf, on Friday, disbursed ₦100,000 each to 50 market women in Ado Odo, Ogun State, as part of an initiative aimed at improving the economic well-being of local traders.

The event, held within the bustling Ado-Odo market, brought together community leaders, support groups, and well-wishers. 

Beneficiaries were visibly overwhelmed with joy, expressing heartfelt gratitude for the financial support. 

Notable attendees at the event included the Chief Imam of Ado Odo, Alhaji Soliu Abanigbe, representatives of the Asiwaju Support Group Ado Odo, Kamosky Loyalists from Agbara, and Kamor Vanguard from Agbara.

During the ceremony, the Chief Imam offered prayers for Alh Yusuf’s continued success and urged others in the community to emulate his example of selflessness and community service.

The empowerment initiative has been widely praised for its immediate impact, with many lauding the President’s aide’s commitment to uplifting vulnerable groups, especially women engaged in petty trading and small-scale businesses.

Beyond financial aid, the event has also sparked renewed hope and inspiration among local residents, reinforcing the importance of community-led efforts in addressing poverty and economic challenges at the grassroots level.
