The chairmanship flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area, LCDA of Mushin Local Government, Lagos, Mr. Seyi Jakande has shared his vision and agenda for the chairmanship of the LCDA in the upcoming Local Government elections.

The flagbearer stated this during his campaign flag-off while speaking to journalists in Lagos, adding: “I promise to build a vibrant and progressive community where every resident enjoys quality living and equal opportunities in governance and development, and a high standard of living.

“Our commitment is to create a prosperous, inclusive and sustainable community, making it a model for excellence in Lagos and Nigeria.

“Our agenda outlines our vision, values and objectives as we strive for a brighter future for all residents, anchored on HEWA: Health and environment sustainability; education and empowerment; works and security; and agriculture, tourism and culture.

“Each pillar of the HEWA is essential to elevating the quality of life for our residents, and together, we will champion a comprehensive and sustainable development agenda.

“Serving as vice chairman for nearly eight years has been both an honour and a privilege, experience I truly cherished alongside incumbent chairman, Mr. Rasaq Ajala.

“We have laid the groundwork for transformative milestones that promise to elevate our community further,” he said.

Jakande further tilted support to build upon the incredible initiatives established under the leadership of his boss, Mr. Rasaq Ajala, setting the stage for a future brimming with promise. I ask for your support, your trust, and your vote as we venture towards a brighter tomorrow.

Fielding questions from journalists on drug abuse, the flag-bearer promised to provide alternative by engaging youths on social activities especially sporting activities.

Again, Jakande appreciated overwhelming support from the party leadership and collective endorsement that reinforces shared vision for progress and also promised to collaborate closely to bring this vision to fruition.

“I would also like to acknowledge the other chairmanship aspirants who brought their enthusiasm and dedication to this race. Their engagement enriches our democratic process, and I am optimistic that, regardless of the outcome, our shared spirit will propel Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye into a new era of progress.

“As we look toward the future, I am energized by the importance of sustaining the momentum of our governance. Our noble achievements, driven by our commitment to transparency, accountability, and service excellence, will serve as a robust foundation for what lies ahead.
