“Everyone of the contestants knew adequately that one of the prerequisite to emerge as candidate is through a primary election and they are all prepared for it. They know the rules and procedure. I am sure as a party man that they are, primary election won’t cause any rancour, and if it want to arise, the party leadership has mechanism to control such”, he said.

Meanwhile, he said the purpose of inaugurating Youths Assembly by the Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, AMBO, campaign organisation was to engage the youth to begin mobilisation for the emergence of Oyebamiji as the party flag bearer for the 2026 governorship poll.

“The 393 AMBO Youth Assembly across Osun State, that we inaugurate today will be responsible for the mobilisation of votes to ensure that our aspirant, Bola Oyebamiji did not just emerge as the party’s candidate but also as Governor of Osun State”, he added.

Meanwhile, a chieftain of the party, Mr Kayode Oduoye, disclosed that the essence of setting up the Youth Assembly is not just for mobilisation but to ensure that they are fully involved in the project with a view to ensuring its success.
