Leadership expert and human capacity development strategist, Amaka Rachael Mordi (also known as AMARAK), has launched two new books in Lagos, marking a significant step in her efforts to equip individuals with tools for authentic leadership and intentional living.
The event, which took place over the weekend, was a celebration of her journey and a testament to her commitment to empowering others.
AMARAK’s first book, “Unravel The Leader In You: Practical Steps To Getting Started In Leadership,” is a practical guide for individuals seeking to unlock their leadership potential and transform their world.
The author described the work as a call to action for those questioning their capacity to lead, noting that leadership is not tied to position but begins with inner clarity, genuine concern for others and the inate desire to fulfil purpose.
She said: “This book is an invitation to peel back the layers of self-doubt, fear and insecurity to discover the leader that has always been inside you. It is practical, honest, and deeply personal.”
AMARAK’s second book, “The Cogitations Of Amarak: Volume One,” offers a poetic and reflective journey into themes such as identity, love, growth, and faith.
According to AMARAK, the collection is designed to provoke introspection and stir the reader’s inner life, adding: “It’s not a loud book but a gentle, bold voice that speaks to places in you that you have ignored for too long.”
Alongside the book launch, AMARAK introduced the “Coach AMARAK Brand,” a platform focused on unlocking human potential, restoring emotional well-being, and promoting transformational leadership.
This brand is designed to support men and women in finding their voice, healing from personal setbacks, and leading with authenticity across all human institutions. “This brand is not just about coaching. It’s a movement. It’s about helping people rewrite their future by confronting their story,” she stressed.
The books and the brand are a product of years of personal journey marked by purposeful clarity, enduring perseverance, and real data of testimonial-backed transformational impact.
AMARAK noted that the work behind the launch reflects years of growth and is aimed at encouraging others to rise above fear and discover purpose.
The event was well attended by guests from various backgrounds, including professional colleagues, mentors, mentees, clients, clergy, friends, and family.
Some shared fond memories of how AMARAK has touched their lives, celebrating her commitment to empowering others and her dedication to her craft. “This is not your usual leadership coach. Everyone should experience the AMARAK effect,” one of the guests stated.
