HR professionals gather to promote mindset transformation

By Ephraim Oseji

As part of its mission of self -transformation, the Great Excellent Minds coaching network (HR G.E.Ms) has concluded plans to host its annual Workers Day event, themed “Mindset Transformation – The Transformed Professional’.

This transformative event, which is scheduled to hold at 10am on May 17, 2025 at the CIPM hall, Alausa, will bring together HR professionals from diverse industries, fostering impactful discussions on personal and professional growth. With a lineup of industry experts, keynote speaker, and engaging sessions, designed to equip participants with the mindset shifts needed to excel in their careers and lives.

According to the HR Gems convener, Coach, Lara Yeku, the theme of the event is predicated on recent research by McKinsey & Company, which states that “70% of organizational efforts to drive change to improve performance, fails.

She therefore noted that transformational change requires individuals to behave differently, which means that leaders must address how people think and act in their day-to-day work. Coach Lara also noted that addressing an organization’s mindset has a tangible business impact and it is the key that opens the door to successfully transforming an organization” with HR being a Change Agent based on Dave Ulrich’s model.

Some of the confirmed speakers for the event include Dr. Ugochukwu Omeogu, a Premium Business Strategist, Mr. Yemi Faseun – CTO, YF Talent Partners, Mr. Wale-Smatt Oyerinde, DG, NECA, Coach Adaora Ayoade, CEO, EZ37 Solutions, Dr. Remi Abere, CEO, RoebiGlobal and Dr. Osaz,CEO, WINBOX.
