US-incorporated live shopping platform, Dhive, has announced plans to launch its mobile app in June 2025.
CEO of Dhive, Ugo Ugoji Harry, explained that the platform is designed to revolutionize online commerce by combining live video streaming with real-time customer engagement. This approach aims to deliver a transparent, interactive, and secure shopping experience.
He noted that the mobile app builds on the success of its web platform, enabling businesses to showcase products through live broadcasts. Customers can view items, ask questions, and make instant purchases—fostering authenticity in online shopping.
Harry said: “Our goal is to create a platform where customers feel confident in what they’re buying before they pay. This app will redefine how people shop online by prioritizing trust and engagement.”
With 30,000 to 50,000 users already on its waitlist, Dhive is generating significant interest. The app offers cashback on every purchase and real-time discounts for shoppers, while merchants gain tools to reach global audiences, particularly in emerging markets.
Security and privacy are central to Dhive’s mission. As a US-incorporated company, the platform complies with international data protection regulations and employs high-level encryption for instant messaging between buyers and sellers, ensuring safe and private communication.
The Dhive mobile app will be available for download in June 2025, with a full rollout planned by July 8, 2025. This launch represents a major milestone in establishing live shopping as a mainstream alternative to traditional e-commerce.
“We envision Dhive as the go-to destination for immersive, trustworthy online shopping experiences,” Harry added.
