Plans for the annual Women of Destiny Conference (WoDC) organised by Daystar Christian Centre, with the aim of guiding women on a transformative journey of self-discovery, have been concluded.
The WoDC, slated for Saturday, April 5, and Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the church’s main auditorium on Ikosi Road, Oregun, Lagos, is expected to also inspire and equip women to unlock their full potential, shedding societal expectations and embracing their authentic selves.
The conference, themed ‘Beautified’, according to the Convener of the Women of Destiny Conference, Pastor Nike Adeyemi, is a call for women to embrace transformation, restoration, and elevation in every area of their lives.
Speaking on the significance of this year’s theme, she emphasized that “true beauty is not just about appearance but about deep, inner transformation. “God’s beauty is not merely outward, it is a transformative work that empowers us to shine in every area of life. At WoDC 2025, women will be encouraged to rise above societal limitations and walk confidently in their divine purpose,” she said.
Head of Communications, Daystar Christian Centre, Lagos, Ayo Makinde stated that the conference would feature a lineup of speakers, including Pastor Nike Adeyemi, whom he described as a global beacon of wisdom and transformation for countless women, and Betty Irabor, who would share her insights on resilience and purpose.
Makinde added that “panelists Grace Ashama and Mrs. Sweeney Mbelu will provide practical perspectives on navigating life’s challenges, while music minister Adeyinka Alaseyori will lead an atmosphere of worship that will uplift the spirit and set the tone for divine encounters. “The conference promises life-changing teachings from dynamic speakers, panel discussions on real-life issues, soul-lifting worship, and engaging sessions that provide an opportunity to connect with like-minded women.
Every session is open to all women, and no registration is required. Whether single or married, young or old, a working professional or a stay-at-home mom, every woman is invited to be part of this life-changing event. “
It will take place on Saturday, April 5, at Daystar Christian Centre, Oregun, Lagos, and will conclude with special services across all Daystar’s worship centres, including Lekki, Ikorodu, Alimosho, and Badagry, on Sunday, April 6.
For those unable to attend physically, all sessions will be live-streamed on the church’s website and social media platforms, ensuring that every woman, regardless of location, can be part of this transformational experience,” Makinde stated.
