A young Nigerian tech innovator, John Oseni, has called for more young persons to be active players in the tech space.
According to him, the challenges of our time require fresh perspectives. “We need more young people in tech,” Oseni asserts. “The challenges of our time require fresh perspectives and innovative solutions that the youth are uniquely positioned to provide.”
At just 20 years old, Nigerian tech innovator, Oseni has already made significant strides in the global technology landscape. Recognized for his contributions to technological advancement, Oseni is now calling for increased youth participation in the tech industry, emphasizing the transformative potential of young minds in shaping the future.
Oseni’s journey into technology began at a young age, leading to remarkable achievements such as: Global Child Prodigy Award: On August 20, 2022, Oseni was honored in Dubai with this prestigious award, presented by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence. This recognition celebrated Oseni’s exceptional contributions to technology at a young age.
Best Young Innovator Award: Recognized by the Nigeria Metro Award on November 19, 2022, for his outstanding contributions to technological innovation.
Beyond these accolades, Oseni serves as an Advisory Board Member at the Lifeboat Foundation, a U.S.-based nonprofit dedicated to safeguarding humanity through technological advancements.
Oseni emphasizes the importance of early exposure to technology for young people. “Access to technology and mentorship can unlock immense potential. It’s crucial that we create environments where young minds can explore, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to the tech world,” he stated.
He also highlights the role of education and community support in nurturing young tech enthusiasts. “Educational institutions, industry leaders, and communities must collaborate to provide resources and opportunities that encourage youth participation in technology,” Oseni adds.
As a role model for aspiring young technologists, Oseni continues to advocate for initiatives that bridge the gap between youth and technology, aiming to inspire a new generation of innovators who will drive progress and address global challenges through tech-driven solutions.
