The Mandated Prophet: Okwudili Eze speaks on Seven Aspect of the Revelation of Jesus Christ

In his newly published book, the Mandated Prophet, Prophet Okwudili Eze, the presiding Bishop of Zion Heritage Ministries, Abuja, has given deep insights into the spiritual features of Seven Aspect of the Revelation Of Jesus Christ.

According to the scripture in 1 John 5:7, “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”

In heaven, there was no Jesus, rather the Word. He became Jesus when He came to earth.

He highlighted as he quotes John 1:1-3, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. all things were made by him; and without were not anything made that was made.”

Genesis 1:1-3, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”

Hebrews 11:3, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”

This is a deep mystery and I pray God gives you understanding.

Now, let us talk about the aspects of the revelation of Jesus Christ one by one.

1. Divinity of Christ.

John 1:1-3″ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

1″ Tim. 3:16 “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

The divinity of Christ is to acknowledge that Jesus is Lord. It involves believing it and saying it.

This revelation of the divinity of Jesus Christ gives us the assurance that with the backing of God in your prophetic ministry you cannot fail. It means that when you engage His partnership in the prophetic ministry and every endeavour you cannot fail. Paul said, every house is built by someone but he that builds all things is God.

The revelation of the divinity of Christ teaches us that if God be for us, no one can be against us.

John 15:5 “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

John 3:27 “John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.

2. Humanity of Christ.

1 Tim. 2:5-6 “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Jesus died as our Saviour, but lived as our example. This is to say that everything that Jesus did, He did as a man anointed by the Holy Ghost. He conquered satan and made a shame of him as an anointed man. And the Bible says, As He is so we are here on earth.

Philippians 2:5-7, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men.”

The revelation of the humanity of Christ teaches us th there is no limitation for any person who yields himse or herself to the Holy Spirit. We are not called to supernatural acts naturally; we are called to do the supernaturally. Even Jesus said, the works that you see it i the Father in me that doeth them.

(John 14:10)

3. Ministry of Christ.

For over three years, Jesus did impactful ministry the cuts across generations and still speaks until eternity Jesus taught, healed and preached.

Luke 5:15,17 tells us “But so much the more went there fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities. And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them”.

Ministry is meant to be fulfilled; not just admired. Everything seen in Christ is an example of what can be seen in us. God’s assignment done God’s way will never lack God’s backing and result.

4. Sufferings of Christ.

This includes his physical assault during his arrest and eventual death. Understanding these things is the core of all we do as believers and in relation to the prophetic ministry. See these scriptures that speak about the sufferings of Christ.

Luke 24:26, “Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory.

James 5:10, “Take my brethren, the prophets who have spoken in the name of the Lord for an example of suffering, affliction and of patience.”

Death and suffering is the price for glory. Any person who doesn’t want to survive seasons of training can never enter into a season of reigning. No Suffering No Reigning! Even Christ didn’t wear the crown of glory until he had worn the crown of thorns.

Genuine glory is the reward harvested from deep sacrifices.

5. Resurrection of Christ.

His resurrection validates the gospel we preach and the confessions of our redemption. If Christ had not risen, ministry work would be meaningless.

Romans 1:3-4, “Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh,

and declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead, “

1″ Cor. 15:13-14 “But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

Resurrection authenticated Jesus as Lord. His resurrection validates our prophetic ministry. Our authority to minister is from the revelation that Christ died and rose again after the third day and that gives us the gusto to minister to sinners without much ado.

6. Glorification of Christ.

This speaks about his ascension into heaven and him sitting at the right hand of God.

Psalm 110:1-2, “The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit down at my right hand until i make thy footstool. The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion. Rule thou in the midst of thy enemies.”

Eph. 2:6 “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Christ’s glorification gives us access to dominion on earth. By bequeathed authority via the finished works of Christ, the church is the embassy of God, to decide and to run things. As long as the church is on earth, Christ is well represented.

7. The Coming of Christ.

The gospel we vendor is no mirage nor an illusion, for this is the mainstay of our confession in Christ.

Acts 1:11, “Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”

1 Thessalonians 4:16, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.

The revelation of the coming of Christ should impart in us a certain sense of urgency to preach the gospel without reservation even as prophets or prophetic people. The end time is here. The commonest task that every minister of Christ has is the ministry of reconciliation. Church has one purpose, but different principles and means of application. One binding thing, regardless of your call as a Pastor, Evangelist or Prophet etc, is the reconciliation of souls.
