Empowering Nigerian Air Force: Neo Cloud Technologies leads data-driven evaluation workshop

By Gabriel Olawale

Neo Cloud Technologies have partnered with the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) to deliver a transformative 3-day capacity-building workshop on Monitoring, Evaluation, and Data Management. This intensive training, organized by the NAF’s Standards and Evaluation Branch, underscores the critical role of data in achieving operational excellence and strategic impact.

Neo Cloud Technologies facilitated the workshop, bringing together evaluators from NAF Commands and units across Nigeria. Aligned with the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar’s vision of “deliberate training and mission-oriented development,” the focus was on equipping these professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary to leverage data-driven processes effectively.

Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar’s powerful statement, “data-driven evaluation is a tool for precision,” resonated throughout the workshop.

Key Highlights of the Workshop:

Modern Evaluation Tools: Participants were introduced to cutting-edge software designed for impact assessment and cost-benefit analysis. These tools empower evaluators to conduct more accurate and insightful assessments, leading to more informed decision-making.

Data Management Best Practices: Principles of data management, ensuring participants understood how to collect, analyze, and interpret data effectively were covered.

Strategic Alignment: The training focused on aligning evaluation processes with the NAF’s strategic objectives, enabling evaluators to demonstrate the tangible impact of their operations.

Hands-on Training: Experienced facilitators provided practical, hands-on training, allowing participants to apply their new skills in real-world scenarios.

Neo Cloud Technologies says it is committed to supporting the NAF’s vision of a professional and agile force, ready to meet evolving security challenges.
