Anambra deploy digital infrastructure to reform learning in 22 smart schools

Governor Chukwuma Soludo CFR, is setting a new benchmark in education transformation with the deployment of Edves, an Artificial Intelligence-powered digital infrastructure designed to revolutionise teaching, learning and administration across the 22 pilot Smart Schools in all 22 local government areas.

In a statement, he explained that unlike conventional EdTech solutions that primarily streamline administrative processes, Edves is teacher-centric and student-focused, empowering educators to leverage Al for personalized instruction, adaptive learning, and deep inquiry-based education.

He explained further that the landmark initiative is not just about digitising education; it is about redefining pedagogy by integrating artificial intelligence, data-driven insights, and automation to enhance teaching effectiveness and student engagement.

Soludo said that with Al augmenting classroom experiences, teachers can curate dynamic lesson plans, track learning progress with predictive analytics, and create immersive, interactive learning environments that cater to the diverse needs of students.

He said that the partnership with Edves represents a forward-thinking approach to education reform, ensuring that Anambra’s Smart Schools become a model of excellence, where technology serves as an enabler of knowledge, inquiry, and student-driven discovery.

He said: “By combining intelligent automation with pedagogical depth, the state is laying a solid foundation for lifelong learning and future-ready graduates who can compete globally in an era defined by Al, digital transformation, and innovation-driven economies.”

Also, Chief Executive/CoFounder of Edves, Dimeji Falana, said that unlike conventional EdTech solutions that focus solely on efficiency, the partnership goes beyond automation to empower educators and students with tools that foster deep inquiry, hands-on leaming, and real-world application of knowledge-all while ensuring secure data management, streamlined administration, and inclusive education for all learners, including those with special needs.
