Brethren, we are welcome to the month of the Trinity. Why?   It’s because the Trinity is the anchor of Christianity.   We recognize, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  God in three Personalities.

When we call upon the hosts of Heaven, we are calling on the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  God in three persons.

Beloved, it is a rare privilege to have the Trinity attend to our needs.   You ask how?

Genesis 18 vs. 1& 2 ( NIV) “ The LORD appeared to Abraham near the  great trees of Mamre while he was sitting  at the entrance to his tent  in the heat of the day.

Abraham looked up and saw three men standing  nearby. When  he saw them, he hurried from  the entrance  of his tent  to meet them and bowed low  to the ground”.

God appeared to Abraham in the form of three persons, not two, not one not four.

By the Grace of God, this month of March, the Hosts of Heaven will pay you and I a visit in Jesus name.

Abraham entertained the three men and they in turn set him free from long time bondage of barrenness.

The experience of Abraham in  verses 9-14 of the same chapter tells us more.  “ Where is your wife Sarah?’ they asked  him.  “ There in the tent, “ he said.

Then one  of them said, “ I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah  your wife will have a son”.

Now Sarah was listening  at the entrance to the tent,  which was behind him. Abraham and Sarah were already very old,  and Sarah was past  the age of childbearing . So Sarah laughed  to herself as  she  thought, “ After I am worn out  and my lord is old , will I now have this pleasure:”

The LORD said to Abraham, “ Why did Sarah  laugh and say, “ Will I  really have a child, now that I am old?’.

Is anything too hard  for the LORD? I  will return  to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son”.

Brethren, we need to take a deeper look at this conversation.  

By human calculation,  Abraham and Sarah had past childbearing age.   Put simply, Sarah had long  passed menopause.  Abraham had become too weak  to make love and if he did, his sperm had become too weak.    They both knew this and  it explains why Sarah had doubts.   She laughed at herself.

Beloved,  in any situation that you find yourself and people have written you off,  the Blessed Trinity will rise for you and change  your situation in Jesus name.

Let’s also not lose sight of the fact that Abraham and Sarah showed kindness to the visitors  and they were rewarded with the desires of their hearts.

God lifted Sarah’s faith when he asked the question in Genesis 18 vs. 14 “ Is anything  too hard for the LORD?. 

Brethren, this is a question that a Believer going through any challenge must ask himself or herself and a positive answer is an indication that the person expects a miracle.

Another salient point  in the conversation of the three men was the mention of the “ appointed time next year” ( Genesis 18 vs. 14).

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ.  There is an appointed time for everybody.  The appointed time for you is not the same as that of your sister even when you are praying partners.

God has an appointed time for everybody. 

 An appointed time is the time of the physical manifestation of  a miracle.

At God’s  appointed time, the yoke would be broken if we maintain a relationship with Christ.

This story of Abraham and Sarah is also about deliverance.   God decided to  open the womb of Sarah to shut the mouth of her mockers and deliver her from the burden of barrenness.

Genesis 11 vs. 30  ( NIV) said about Sarah: “ Now Sarah was childless because she was not able to conceive”.

This simply means God had deposited in her, everything that was needed for reproduction but conception didn’t take place.   Remember that Abraham went into Haggai and had a son but Sarah was unable to conceive.

So, humanly speaking, we would say it was Sarah that had infertility issues.

What does this tell us?  It simply means that when a couple find themselves in this situation, blaming each other isn’t helpful.

Many times it is not due to the fault of  the woman or the man but the activities of the forces of darkness.

God wants us to have children and he still gives  children to those that ask the Lord. 

Deuteronomy 14 vs. 7 ( KJV) “ Thou shalt be blessed above all the people: there shall not be male or female among you, or among your cattle”.

So, if we experience delays, it is usually a challenge that we can overcome.

In the case of Hannah   and Elkanah, the Holy Bible records  in  1st Samuel 1 vs. 5 & 6( NIV) : “ But to Hannah  he gave double portion  because he loved her, and the LORD had closed her womb. Because the LORD had closed Hannah’s womb,  her rival kept provoking her in order to irritate her”.

Brethren, here the Holy Bible was specific that God closed Hannah’s womb.

This should tell us that God might  have closed a woman’s womb for a reason unknown to the woman.

In such a situation, it would not be right for anyone to mock or blame her for her situation.

However, many human beings including husbands act like Penninah provoking or irritation the woman who is yet to bear children.

At God’s appointed time, he opened the womb of Hannah and gave her a special child.

In the name of Jesus, it doesn’t matter how long you have been waiting on the LORD or how long people have mocked you or you have written yourself off, the appointed time of the LORD is at hand and  people would rejoice with you.

In Genesis 21 vs. 6 ( KJV): “ And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me”.

When the LORD visits you, the miracle that would manifest in your life would be one that the people would rejoice with you.  

Brethren, in this month of Trinity, take steps that would make the LORD visit you.

Abraham did not allow the challenge to stop him from showing kindness to people.

He showed kindness to the visitors  not knowing that he actually entertained God in human form.

Continue to be  showing love to others especially people that are unable to return your kindness with material things.

Let’s lift our faith with  the testimony  of a woman who gave birth to set of twins at the age of 52.

God visited her when she had passed the age of menopause.   It simply tells us that when men see  the signs of a pause, God can still activate.

Let’s all join our Father in the Lord, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God

Brethren, create time to meet with God at these programmes and the Lord would visit you in Jesus name.

Lest we forget, Lent, the 40 days fasting and prayer for Christians  begins on March 5.  

Be a part of it, give up  something to get a miracle from God.
