Let’s thank the Almighty God that has seen us through the first two months of the year. The remaining months would end to our benefit in the mighty name of Jesus.
Brethren, we are still the discussing the significance of three or the third month from the spiritual dimension.
Many situations were recorded in the Holy Bible that make the figure three significant.
In many instances it signifies freedom from bondage. Why? It’s because in such instances, God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit arose in the life of such a person.
Exodus 2 vs. 1&2: “ Now a man of the house of Levi married a Levite woman, and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months”.
Hebrews 11 vs. 23 ( NIV) : By faith Moses’ parents hid him for three months after he was born , because they saw he was no ordinary child, and they were not afraid of the kings edict”.
The account in Hebrews 11 attributed the decision to hide the baby to Faith.
Follow the story with understanding. First, the parents got married. Then she became pregnant, and they decided to keep the child because they perceived that he wasn’t an ordinary child.
For three months they were able to keep the child at a time that Pharaoh had decreed that all male children of the Hebrews be killed.
We need to ask how did the parents know he was no ordinary child as he was born like any other child.
Definitely, the Holy Trinity had put a mark on the child that was visible to his parents.
So, they hid him for three months.
When they decided to take him out of hiding, the Holy Spirit gave them idea of what to do.
God arranged a divine connection to save the child that has been destined to lead the children of Israel out of bondage.
The baby was placed in a basket by the riverside. While he was there, the river tide didn’t sweep the child away. Rather, God made a divine arrangement.
Verses 5 & 6 of Exodus 2 states: “ Then Pharaoh’s daughter went down to the Nile to bathe, and her attendants were walking along the river bank. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her slave girl to get it.
She opened it and saw the baby. He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. “ This is one of the Hebrew babies,” she said”.
Beloved, Pharaoh’s daughter, could have insisted that her father’s instruction that the child be killed be carried out but instead she had compassion on the child.
This season, the God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit will have compassion on you and grant your heart’s desires in Jesus name.
His parents wanted him to live and God granted their request.
The child that was hidden for three months migrated from the slave camp of the Hebrews to live in the royal palace of Pharaoh.
Brethren, do you know that with many women, pregnancy is not visible until after three months. Only scan and those who are familiar with some signs of pregnancy would know if a woman is pregnant.
There are many cases of women who get pregnant and still continue to have monthly periods for three months.
I don’t know what doctors call that, but not a few women have had this testimony.
In many cases, it is the LORD’s way of protecting the child from a any enemy attack especially in women that have been waiting on the Lord for sometime.
People may be mocking her thinking she has fibroid but by the sixth month, the pregnancy would become quite visible.
This is one of the reasons that newly pregnant women are advised to try as much as possible to keep indoors and abstain from stressful activities.
Medical doctors also see the first trimester as a delicate period.
When the glory of God begins to manifest in your life, the enemy will not cut it short in Jesus name.
Brethren, we may say Moses was not a child born after a delay in child bearing because he had a sister but he was a child that God had a special assignment for.
His parents did not gave him the assignment to liberate the Israelites from bondage in Egypt.
The Holy Trinity did.
The first sign manifested in Exodus 3 vs. 2-4 ( KJV) : “ And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I”.
Brethren, may you hear the voice of God that would set you free from any kind of bondage this month in Jesus name.
Beloved, note that by faith, Moses’s parents hid him for three months.
Faith is crucial in the life of a Christian and we are talking of deep faith that completely trusts in the Lord.
Faith makes us to put our trust in God into action.
The Bible tells us that Hebrews 11 vs. 1-3 : “ Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
For by it the elders obtained a good report.
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear”.
The Word of God is the message from God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
However, we must put faith into action. Moses parents put faith into action, when they hid him for three months. It was faith in action when they put the baby in a basket and took him to the river side.
When we put faith into action, it puts an end to our worries. The end result is often joy and celebration.
Pharaoh’s daughter did not only adopt Moses, his family got an additional blessing.
Exodus 2 vs. 7-9 : “Then said his sister to Pharaoh’s daughter, Shall I go and call to thee a nurse of the Hebrew women , that she may nurse the child for thee?
And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, Go. And the maid went and called the child’s mother.
And Pharaoh’s daughter said unto her, Take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. And the woman took the child, and nursed it”.
A mother earned money for nursing her own child.
Simply put, the family got a boost in their income.
If anyone has been sitting on your promotion, God would intervene in your situation this season in Jesus name.
To prepare for the visitation of the Lord, you need to admit your sins, repent , ask for God’s forgiveness and abstain from sins.
We can be forgiven if we truly repent and keep away from sins because Christ shed his blood for the remission of our sins.
Matthew 26 vs. 27-28: “ And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins”.
Brethren, we also need to free our minds from bitterness, unforgiveness and hatred for any human being irrespective of how the person might have done something so hurtful.
When you let go, you mind is free to receive the Holy Spirit.
Psalm 95 vs. 7&8: “ For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today if ye will hear his voice,
Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:”
May the LORD visit you in any area you need his touch in Jesus name.
