Lagos House Assembly Crisis: A rhetoric of Fela Anikulapo’s classic – Power Show

The House of Assembly brouhaha has become a mirage and impalpable storyline that has become so disheartening and the entire polity rubbished!

If a matter is in court, I suppose all parties should maintain status quo! Who reinstated who? Who withdrew who?

The Police authorities are meant to inform Lagosians on their modus operandi as regards this matter arising.

On the other hand, Hon. Obasa has said repeatedly that he is not afraid of impeachment but should be done following due process. Now he is back in the house, then the entire parliamentarian should reconvene and pass a vote of no-confidence on him if indeed they’re convinced of following due process in their initial impeachment proceedings.

Rather they’re all scattered like sheep without a shepherd, hanging out in groups in gardens around the Assembly building. The man is back, they should reconvene and do the needful or allow peace to reign by allowing him to continue in office instead of disgracing Lagos State and making us a public debate by those whose political architecture and economic power has no place where Lagos stands!
