Imose gives tech women tips on personal, professional growth

Nigerian women who are going into technology ecosystem now have a great opportunity to be successful, as tech company, Imose Technologies has given them valuable tips that can enable them take charge of their destinies, define their vision and surround themselves with the right people.

At an inspiring session organised by the company to celebrate International Women’s Day, IWD, 2025, the company said it discovered that women succeed easily if they understood the intricacies of the businesses they are going into.

The session themed: Charged, brought together remarkable women from the company’s workforce to encourage personal and professional growth.

In her keynote speech, Founder of Yela Educational Services, Mrs. Yemi Ojo-Aromokudu, highlighted the importance of self-awareness and strategic relationships in achieving success.

Ojo-Aromokudu, an expert in counseling and mentorship, stressed that for women to accelerate in life, they must first empower themselves mentally, emotionally, and physically.

She outlined five core areas for personal and professional growth: self-value and awareness, vision and purpose, community and relationships, burden bearers and gatekeepers, and strategic connections.

She explained: “Confidence begins with knowing and embracing one’s worth. Vision and purpose involve defining long-term goals beyond material success.”

On community and relationships, she said: “The right network can elevate success. Women should build relationships with burden bearers—those who can push them toward growth.”

According to her, “Gatekeepers are individuals who can provide access to opportunities, while making strategic connections means building networks that foster personal and career advancement.”

She emphasized: “A woman must recognize her worth, define her vision, and build strong, strategic relationships. Without a clear direction, society will dictate her path. Success is not handed over, you have to go after it.”

Earlier in her speech, Executive Director of Imose Technologies, Mrs. Taiye Osayi-Izedonmwen, expressed her excitement about fostering a culture of empowerment within the organization.

She said: “Today is about celebrating and elevating the incredible women in our workforce. Our goal with ‘Charged’ is to inspire our women to be bold, intentional, and proactive in shaping their futures. Success doesn’t just happen; you have to go after it.”

Mrs. Osayi-Izedonmwen reiterated Imose Technologies’ dedication to fostering an inclusive and empowering workplace.

She noted: “At Imose Technologies, we are committed to creating an environment where women thrive. Through mentorship, leadership development, and initiatives like this, we ensure that our women feel supported, inspired, and equipped to succeed.
