Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan of Kogi Central is facing criticism from some constituents regarding her recent allegations against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

The Ebira Youth Leaders Forum (EYLF) released a statement on Thursday, expressing concerns over the senator’s conduct. The group questioned the timing of her claims, which followed her removal from a Senate committee and a seat reassignment.

Dr. Adoza Dahiru, General Secretary of the EYLF, stated, “The recent developments in the Senate involving our representative have drawn widespread attention and concern within our constituency.”

The EYLF also assessed the senator’s performance, acknowledging initiatives such as solar street lighting and the establishment of Mini Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) plants in Ajaokuta Local Government. The group encouraged Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan to use her time away from Senate proceedings to strengthen her engagement with legislative processes.

They further stated that the people of Kogi Central will evaluate her representation at the appropriate time.
