The Chairman of Bikumor Community in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Moses Seide has advised both public and private agencies to stop dealing with impostors parading as Bikumor community leadership in their own interest.
Following discovery of such impostors on the prowl, Chief Seide said it had to send notice of the genuine leadership of the community to all agencies including Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Limited, Nigeria Gas Infrastructure Company and all others who have something to do with Bikumor community, for their guidance towards sustaining peace.
In a statement made available to newsmen, the chairman said: “These impostors have had one form of deal or the other on interests of the community with both public and private agencies.
“As Chairman of Bikumor Community, I wish to hereby serve notice that all such impostors should discontinue forthwith their nefarious activities and dealings or face untoward consequences.
“For peace and protection of collective interests, we advise all agencies who have been misled or mischievously sustained such deals to immediately cancel and discontinue such deals as same are null and void and hence at own risk.
“For the avoidance of doubt, we have again duly forwarded the genuine representatives of Bikumor Community to concerned agencies who should take this public notice as further receipt of our advice. It is hereby emphasised that that Bikumor Community shall not be held responsible for any consequences arising from lack of adherence to or remedial action on our advice.”
