ABUJA – Chairman of the Senate Committee on Police Affairs, Senator Abdulhamid Mallam-Madori (APC, Jigawa North East), has praised Senate President Godswill Akpabio’s leadership, describing it as outstanding and driven by a commitment to legislative excellence.
In a personally signed statement, Madori commended Akpabio’s ability to unite senators across party lines, foster collaboration, and encourage diverse perspectives within the 10th Senate over the last 21 months.
“His leadership has transformed the Senate into a dynamic institution, instilling a sense of purpose and camaraderie that resonates beyond the chambers,” Madori said.
He highlighted Akpabio’s dedication to inclusivity and transparency, ensuring active participation among senators. He also lauded Akpabio’s role in the passage of key bills such as the National Minimum Wage Bill, North-West and North-Central Development Commission Bills, and the Social Security for Unemployed Graduates and the Aged in Nigeria Bill, among others.
Madori further praised Akpabio’s commitment to infrastructural development and ethical leadership, emphasizing his focus on national interests over partisan politics.
“In a time where personal interests sway many, Akpabio has remained steadfast in his dedication to the people of Nigeria,” he added.
