A support group otherwise known as the Nigerian Youths for Atiku, has urged former Deputy National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Olabode George, to stop attacking and opposing  former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s presidential ambition.

In a statement, the Director of Communications of NYFA (Nigeria and Diaspora), Dare Dada, described George’s opposition against Abubakar as, “an inconsequential nuisance that should be ignored.”

According to the statement; “Bode George should open a campaign office in Lagos for the re-elections of Bola Tinubu, as his constant attacks and campaign against Atiku towards 2027 is becoming irrational and irritating.

“Interestingly,  Bode George is standing alone. Nigerians have left  him behind. The general opinion across the country  is focused on how to rescue our country from the doldrums, and with Atiku the chances are very high.

“He is one of those politicians who is responsible for the sorry state of the PDP today; his continued envy of Atiku Abubakar is well noted. 

“As a result , we have decided to ignore people who never delivered their polling units for the party.

“We ask him who amongst his preferred choices can defeat President Bola Tinubu in the circumstance if not Atiku Abubakar? Atiku is an idea whose time has come”.
