Founded on November 24, 2014, by Tijesuni Omotoyosi Simire, the fashion brand has become a household name with its vision to project the strength of the African Fashion Industry globally and its unwavering commitment to speed, quality, excellence, honour and customer satisfaction.

They sell their products in their showrooms and partnering boutiques across Nigeria and Europe. They also sell their products online and on third party e-commerce sites.

Between 2014 to 2020, Wurafadaka has expanded its reach to more locations across Nigeria and have sought for ways to become and emblem of reshaping the African fashion industry through its unique value proposition of “speed” in raising the bar of Africa on the map of the world.

Their approach to the fashion business makes them unique and innovative as they’ve been able to solve the problem of lack of speed in the value chain of the fashion industry in Nigeria by providing a 24hours production and delivery service for all their clients. This means they sew and deliver bespoke outfits to their clients within 24 hours. This solution defiles the odds of the typical African fashion brand which takes a duration of 2 weeks or more to sew and deliver outfits. Their solution of “Speed” has expanded their clientele base because of the huge problem it is solving.

Furthermore, In 2025 the clothing brand has opened an additional centre in lekki phase 1 which marks a significant milestone for WuraFadaka, expanding its footprint beyond its centres in Ilorin and Abeokuta to cater to Lagos vibrant fashion scene and fast-paced economy. 

Wurafadaka is known for its diverse offerings including; Traditional Attires, Agbada’s, Kaftans, bespoke suits, female two-piece outfits, Bubu’s, Shirts, Corporate Pants, Casuals, and shoes. They make mass production of products as well as bespoke/custom-made productions.

It’s Fashion Institute that offers 4 different programmes; Beginners, Masters, Professionals where they train individuals in the art of sewing excellent unisex clothes. Their 4th programme; titled “Business of Fashion” is essentially what makes their fashion institute stand out as in this programme they train individuals on the business dimension of Fashion in order for them to be rightly positioned to compete effectively in the global market. They have trained over 1000 individuals in their fashion institute with a 99.8% alumni success.

Amazingly, Wurafadaka has officially partnered with DHL to offer international deliveries, promising a three days turnaround for orders outside Nigeria. Domestically, the brand boasts an impressive 24-hour production timeline for custom clothing orders, a feat made possible through its innovative setups.
