The University of Nottingham UK’s Lagos Chapter recently hosted “Nottingham Nights,” a high-profile networking event that brought together esteemed alumni based in Lagos.

According to Tobi Odukoya, International Alumni Ambassador for the University, “These events are designed to foster relationships among alumni and create opportunities for growth-driven initiatives that connect professionals and entrepreneurs.”

The event, held at the Nordic Hotel in Victoria Island on February 5, 2025, focused on the theme “Building Resilience, Thriving in Nigeria’s Evolving Economy, and Discovering Opportunities for Growth in 2025.”

This timely theme addressed the concerns of many Nigerians, and the event featured high-profile speakers, all University of Nottingham UK alumni, who shared their expertise on navigating the country’s evolving economy.
