Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated the immediate past Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir el-Rufai, on his 65th birthday, describing him as a dedicated public servant who has served Kaduna State and Nigeria with commitment and honour.

In a congratulatory message issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, Governor Sanwo-Olu praised el-Rufai’s contributions to governance and politics in Nigeria.

He said: “On behalf of my family, the government, and the good people of Lagos State, I congratulate the former Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir el-Rufai, on his 65th birthday.

“Malam el-Rufai is a committed public officer. He transformed Abuja during his tenure as Minister of the FCT, and Kaduna State witnessed remarkable growth and development across many sectors during his eight years as governor.”

Sanwo-Olu prayed for good health, long life, and renewed energy for el-Rufai, expressing hope that he will continue to serve humanity, Kaduna State, Nigeria, and the world in the years ahead.
