A Nigerian artist Wenew has revealed how passion shapes and influences his music style.

Revealing this in a statement, the Nigerian artist noted that he stepped into the professional music scene in 2022, and has since remained committed to crafting songs that resonate with listeners on a profound level.

“My music is not just about rhythm or melody,” Wenew explains. “It’s about telling stories, sharing emotions, and connecting with people on a deeper level. Passion drives everything I do.”

Influenced by legendary artists like Fela Kuti, King Sunny Adé, and 2Face Idibia, Wenew sees music as a tool for storytelling and social impact.

“These icons shaped my perspective on what music should be. Their music wasn’t just entertainment—it carried messages that people could relate to. That’s the kind of legacy I want to build,” he says.

With four singles to his name, Wenew is already making waves in the industry.

His most streamed track, “I No Dey See,” has struck a chord with listeners, blending catchy melodies with meaningful lyrics.

“I always want my music to reflect real-life experiences—whether it’s love, struggle, or the daily hustle. My goal is to create something that speaks to people from all walks of life,” he adds.

Now gearing up for the release of his latest project, Grace, Wenew is determined to leave a lasting impact.

“This project is very personal to me. “It’s about gratitude, perseverance, and staying true to one’s journey. I hope listeners can feel the sincerity in every track”, he said.

Beyond just making music, Wenew sees himself as a voice for his generation.

“Music is powerful. It can inspire change, bring comfort, and build communities. That’s why I take my craft seriously. I want my songs to mean something,” he says.

As his career continues to grow, Wenew remains steadfast in his mission: to make music that matters.
