The Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Mobilisation, Dr Stephen Omobamidele Agbi, has extended his support for education by providing free JAMB forms to 1000 students planning to write the 2025 examination.
Dr Agbi said that the initiative was part of his efforts to reduce the number of out-of-school children in the state.
He promised more interventions in the education sector for the indigents in the state.
Speaking withnewsmen in Akure, the state capital, Abi said that he was going to sponsor the three best-performing beneficiaries of the free JAMB exercise in any higher institution of their choice in the country.
Agbi, who is also the CEO of AS Wonders Homes and Properties, promised to continues to demonstrate his commitment to humanitarian service through this and other impactful initiatives.
He said the gesture was purely an avenue to help as many youths as possible with bright prospects to attain their set goals through education.
Agbi, a native of Arigidi Akoko in Akoko North West Local council area of the state, Agbi noted that an educated mind is a liberated mind.
“That is why l have made education one of my priority to help the indigents in the state. I remains committed to seeing youths get educated.
He encouraged them to embrace the opportunity wholeheartedly.
According to him “You are the future of our state and l will do everything in my power to support you.
“In your midst, we have future governors, senators, ministers, honourable members, councillors, teachers, and the rest. So, I challenge you to go out there and make us all proud.”
He advised the students to shun vices and remain focused on the task ahead, which he said was to pass the JAMB exams and gain admission into tertiary institutions.
Agbi wished beneficiaries and indeed, all candidates for the 2025 JAMB examination success.
