For Dr. Oluwatobi Wisdom Atolagbe, education has never been just a personal pursuit; it has been a calling. Raised in a family of teachers, he inherited both a love for learning and a gift for passing knowledge on to others. It is no surprise that wherever he goes, he is recognized not only for his intellect but also for his ability to guide and inspire.

The highlight of his academic journey began at Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, where he studied Computer Science. He later advanced his studies in the United States, earning a master’s degree in computer science from Missouri State University. This combination of local and international training laid the foundation for a career that now bridges continents.

Currently based in the United States, Dr. Atolagbe works as a Software Project Manager, where he plays a role in advancing solutions within the energy sector. While his work abroad is demanding and forward-looking. Some of his projects are Field Swappable Cartridge; a project converting 4 units of battery into a single unit as a replacement option for a bigger size battery in an energy container; he managed the project through the mechanical design and Software-Firmware design and implementation for accurate balancing of the battery cells.

Another Project he is working on is the Eos BMS software project, Dr. Oluwatobi handles the whole software development from documents gathering to deployment and to Certification of the software (UL1973).

Since 2023, he has been running voluntary training sessions for students of the Institute of Intrapreneurship Management and Human Resource Development and Professionals (IIHP). What stands out in his approach is accessibility: he insists that capacity building must not be limited to those with money. Instead, he adopts a low-cost, high-impact model that allows young people from modest backgrounds to benefit and grow.

This philosophy of service and achievement was acknowledged when IIHP, in partnership with Prowess University, Delaware, USA, awarded him an Honorary Doctorate. The recognition reflected both his professional achievements and his dedication to empowering others.

Balancing professional excellence with community impact, Dr. Oluwatobi Wisdom Atolagbe continues to chart a path that is as inspiring as it is practical. His story is proof that success is not only about rising in one’s field but also about creating ladders for others to climb.
