Content creator and actress, Deka George has shared her candid thoughts into the challenges she faces in the world of digital content creation. George opens up about the toll it takes on her mental and emotional health, particularly the pressure to consistently produce high-quality content amidst ever-changing social media algorithms.

In an interview with Potpourri , she said: “The biggest challenge for me is maintaining consistency while continually pushing out engaging content. It’s exhausting,” Deka admits, adding, “Staying up-to-date with algorithm changes and unpredictable platform policies can also be daunting. Every creator struggles to navigate those shifts.”

However, it’s not just the technical challenges that weigh on her—building and engaging a loyal audience is another aspect that occupies her thoughts. “Growing my reach and keeping my audience engaged is a constant struggle. I want to connect with people and give them content that resonates with them.”

Deka also highlights the emotional toll content creation has on mental well-being, revealing that some of the nastier side effects of social media are difficult to manage. “People often forget that content creators are human too. The amount of hateful comments we receive is overwhelming. It’s a cruel part of the job, and nobody cares about your mental health online,” she says.

Despite these challenges, Deka draws immense pride from her intellectual strength. “The major thing I admire about myself would be my brain. My brain is fast—it’s amazing how it generates creative ideas and comes up with solutions. It adapts quickly, and I’m often amazed by how I can think outside the box to solve problems,” she explains.

Reflecting on her past struggles, Deka is quick to credit her ability to overcome challenges. “I’ve had my share of tough times, but I’ve learned how to bounce back each time. It’s not just about being smart; it’s about perseverance.”
