Voyager Magazine officially launched

Voyager Magazine is a premium lifestyle magazine published by White Lion Voyager Limited. The magazine seeks to expand the frontiers of Afrobeats and Nigeria’s Music talent base through the fuse of Afrobeat, entertainment, and culture. This was unveiled at the launch of the magazine held recently at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

White Lion Limited is the brainchild of Mr Emeka Phenson Ogamba, a businessman, and entertainer with experience in the entertainment industry. The magazine blends entertainment, fashion, culture! and lifestyle

The Magazine serves as a voice for change, projecting the unique story of Nigeria entertainment industry.

Speaking at the event, the publisher, Mr Emeka Phenson Ogamba, said, “Voyager magazine is different and unique from every other magazine. It is a tool for change, we decided to blend lifestyle, Afrobeat, culture, and entertainment showbiz in one distinctive package.’’

He said: “I got into entertainment as a passionate contributor, with the desire to make a change. However, along the line, I was equipped with the needed experience in entertainment, before venturing into media publication.

“With the mindset of being a voice and doing something different, I want to use Voyager as a voice to project a lot of things from this part of the world. This made me focus on a premium lifestyle.”

The bi-monthly magazine’s maiden edition featured German Jazz Musician Konstantin Reinfeld, using the face on the cover of the magazine.

The second edition features music producer and Ambassador Don Jazzy on the cover. Business tycoon, Obi Cubana, the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and Chief Innoson Chukwuma of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing.

The Magazine is a Powerhouse that profiles top celebrities across the world, including Nigerian business tycoons.

‘’Today marks the official launch of the Magazine, and this is our second edition, before now, I can boldly tell you that we have partners and collaborators in Australia, we have in the United Kingdom, the USA, Monaco, and Germany, and we are still growing. We are currently selling in over ten countries.’’

The Magazine’s maiden edition was focused on the ‘one-solution initiative’, with the concept of “Safetainmen’’. This concept was introduced to solve the problem of safety as well as create awareness for safety, which is evident in the entertainment industry.

“If you look at the maiden edition, we introduced a one-solution initiative, because we decided to solve a problem, we created Safetainment.

“The concept of Safetainment is solving a problem that exists in the entertainment industry, and in the entertainment industry, safety sometimes is being ignored.

“In this second edition, we created another concept which is Solartainment, our initiative seeks to provide a solution to the Power problem in the entertainment industry.’’

The Publisher said, “Through our articles and collaborations, we intend to create publicity for our local and international businesses.

“We also use the magazine to profile individuals who have contributed to the economy and the entertainment industry. We intend to use this magazine to contribute to the entertainment industry.’’

‘’We want to commend the government for what they are doing and advise the government to look into the lives of the youth, work on the talent, and push more effort to develop our talent. Because when you develop skills, you are not just solving one problem, but a community problem.’’

Speaking also, the Consultant for Voyager Magazine, Mrs. Hope Igwilo, said that Voyager Magazine is incredible, and tailored to projecting Nigeria to the world.

She said: “This magazine is tailored to project positivity about Nigeria, to tell the Nigeria story in the Diaspora, correcting the negative mindset about Nigeria. It portrays our lifestyle, entertainment, fashion and culture.

“The magazine is rich in content, as you can see the people profiled in the magazine are our own, the niche they represent, business tycoons, and entertainers.

“We are working on translating the magazine to some foreign language, and we are in contact with some of our collaborators to this effect. The Magazine aims to bring hope to the abundant young talent in Nigeria.’’
