The ex-British and Commonwealth Light Heavyweight boxing champion, Peter Oboh, has said this rematch fight coming up tonight in Saudi Arabia between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk may come out to be one of the classic fights of the year.

However, he projects that Usyk will stop, and even retire, Fury.
Recall that Fury and Usyk are meeting again after their clash in May. In that fight, Usyk dropped Fury in the ninth round en route to victory in the pair’s bid to unite all four belts for the first time in 25 years.
‘The Cat’ claimed a split-decision win with scorecards of 115-112 and 114-113 in his favour while the third judge gave it to Fury 114-113.
So, in this fight, Tyson Fury will look to avenge his first-ever professional defeat when he rematches Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia.
Reflecting on the fight, Oboh said: “Note this, Uysk is a very good fighter, a gold medal winner in the London Olympics sometime ago.
“Also, he is former Cruiserweight undisputed boxing champion. Again, Uysk has so much of luck on his side.
“Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua were at one time or the other the best heavyweight boxers. They proved themselves few years ago. Uysk became a rival to all of them when they all had past their prime.
“When those three were at their best as heavyweight champions, they would have been more favourable to win than now that Tyson Fury’s boxing engine is already knocked out.
“This is why I strongly believe that Fury may get stopped. Unless something unusual happens; such as Fury’s third wind of strength comes in, his chances are very slim.
“I wish them both well. But I think Uysk will pull a big victory via TKO. Either that or Fury retiring on his ring chair.
“This could have been avoided by Fury rejecting their rematch,” Peter Oboh, the ex-British champion, concludes.
