Pamtech Group, owners of Pamtech Media Limited has appointed Somiari Lucky as the Chief Executive Officer of their media outfit, known as Pamtech Media Ltd, marking an incredible story of growth, dedication, and leadership.

Disclosing this to the media as a groundbreaking move, Engr. Chidomere Ndubuisi, Managing director and CEO of Pamtech Group, said that it is a first of its kind for the company and that it reflects the organization’s commitment to nurturing talent and empowering leaders from within.

He said: “Four years ago, Somiari Lucky joined Pamtech Media as a graphic designer. Back then, the media team was just getting started, and Somiari was its third member. His role seemed simple—create graphics—but from day one, it was clear he had much more to offer.”

Speaking further, he said Somiari began to contribute ideas beyond his job description from the start, andding that his inputs were on a top notch level and was very noticeable by the management. 

“He shared insights on product development and online marketing, showing a rare ability to think strategically and innovate. Two years into his journey with Pamtech, his efforts earned him a double promotion. He was named Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Pamtech Media and a Director in the Pamtech Group, even receiving shares in the company—a recognition of his dedication and contributions,” said Ndubuisi.

As Pamtech Media expanded, Somiari was given the responsibility of leading the team. Under his guidance as Team Lead, the media division grew to over 20 professionals, including content creators, videographers, and strategists. He wasn’t just managing a team; he was building a business.

“Somiari’s focus on impact and sustainability drove the team’s success. He consistently introduced innovative products and services that strengthened Pamtech Media’s position as a leader in the industry. His team’s respect for him was so strong they began calling him “Chief” even before he officially earned the title.

“Today, Pamtech Media boasts over 40 team members and has become a vital part of Pamtech Group’s success. Recognizing that Somiari had both the vision and expertise to take the business further, the Board of Directors unanimously agreed to name him CEO of Pamtech Media Ltd,” Ndubuisi added.

He also noted that the announcement was made on Somiari’s birthday in a ceremony led by the company’s  chief, and reflecting on the journey, Engr. Ndubuisi said, “This is a very emotional moment for me. I’ve seen Somiari grow from a young graphic designer into a visionary leader.

“Leadership is about empowering others, and I’m proud to trust him with this role. He understands the media business better than I ever could, and I’m confident he will take Pamtech Media to even greater heights,” he said.
