The Edo State Command of the Nigerian Police has declaredI wanted one Violet Aghatise for breaching an earlier agreement to always appear at the police station every end of the month to assist the police in the course of investigation into a case of her involvement in an act of same-sex practice with her fleeing partner identified as Precious Osagie.

A statement made available by the Nigerian Police to journalists in Benin City stated that Violet Aghatise was caught on her matrimonial bed by her husband Ambrose Agbokhai on March 30th 2020 making out with her lover Precious Osagie who however managed to escape after they were both caught in the act.

The statement further added that Violet Aghatise, who was thereafter arrested on April 9th 2020 by her husband for committing the abominable and sacrilegious act on his matrimonial bed with another woman, confessed to the crime of lesbianism and was thereafter detained .

Violet Aghatise, according to the police statement, was later granted a conditional bail and told to always appear at the police station during the course of investigation every last week of each month pending the completion of investigation into the case.

It was however gathered that Violet Aghatise, after her conditional bail from custody, was last seen at the police station in August 2024 before her sudden disappearance.

Meanwhile, a notice of reminder was thereafter served on her by the police stating that she failed to honour her invitation, hence the statement added that Violet Aghatise and Precious Osagie are hereby declared wanted by the Nigerian Police.

The statement urged members of the general public with any useful information on their whereabouts to immediately report at any nearby police station or the criminal investigation department of the Edo State Command of the Nigerian Police for a handsome reward.
