By Jimitota Onoyume

President of the Hope Restored Advocacy Organization, Dr. Philomena Onoyona, has enjoined Nigerians to keep unflinching faith with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic policies, saying that in no distant time, these economic policies will start producing holistic solutions that will be both enduring and sustainable.

She also called on the leadership of Delta state chapter of All Progressive Congress (APC), to shun every form of divisiveness, and imbibe inclusive tendencies relevant for winning elections particularly as the 2027 general election in the country draws near.

Onoyona, whose husband was the APC candidate for the Isoko federal constituency election in 2023, in a statement made available to the press, emphasized that President Tinubu has used the first year of his administration to lay a solid socioeconomic foundation for the nation, an effort she added, made the year 2025 outlook socially healthy, economically robust with endless opportunities for human capital development.

According to her, “it is of fact that the nation as it were, needed more policies and reforms and these, Mr. President has provided through leadership. He has used the last one year and some months to chart a new course and stir the ship of leadership and I am confident that as we step into the new year, the nation is primed and positioned to make an all-encompassing progress’’.

While calling on Nigerians not to lose confidence but continually pray for the present administration in the country as the future of the nation looks bright, Dr. Philomina who doubles as the President of Philomena Onoyona Foundation urged APC members in the state, particularly the leaders, to close rank for the task ahead.

Dr. Onoyona who hails from Agbor Alidinma but resides in the United States of America, said one of the easiest ways in achieving great inroads, come 2027 in the state was by supporting the journey to achieving gender parity in politics which according to her, will require dismantling systemic barriers, allowing women to fully showcase their leadership potential and drive progress across the state.

She finally congratulated the APC leadership on the teaming number of new members recently welcomed to the party, noting that with such number and considering the calibre of people that joined the party, APC is sure of victory in the state.
