An APC leader in Ogun State and member of the Federal Character Commission, (FCC), Kayode Oladele has congratulated the paramount ruler of Yewaland, Olu of Ilaro and Chairman, Ogun State Council of Obas, HRM, Oba Kehinde Gbadewole Adeboye Olugbenle (Asade Agunloye IV ) on the occasion of his 58th birthday celebrations.

In a statement, Oladele extolled the virtues of Oba Olugbenle, describing the monarch as “a highly revered royal father, visionary ruler, who combines great anointing as a man of God with royalty to impact positively in the lives of his subjects.

“A first class monarch of immense pedigree, deeply committed to the political emancipation of Yewaland, Kabiesi certainly deserves all the accolades that may come his way on the occasion of his birthday”.

Oladele noted that Oba Olugbenle celebrating his birthday, days after the successful hosting of the 2024 Oronna Festival was both symbolic and enthralling.

He said, “It is gratifying to note that Kabiesi’s reign has witnessed and will continue to bring remarkable progress and development, not only to the ancient city of Ilaro but to Yewaland and Ogun West Senatorial District in general.

“I therefore share in the optimism and pray that Kabiesi will live long to witness more unprecedented transformation of Ilaro kingdom and Yewaland as a zone that is gradually and consistently evolving to become the political heartbeat of Ogun State and by the grace of God, poised to produce the next Governor of Ogun State.”

Oladele also used the occasion of Oba Olugbenle’s birthday celebrations to thank the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, distinguished senators and important dignitaries who were in attendance at the grand finale of Oronna Festival last Sunday in Ilaro to show respect to the paramount ruler and as a demonstration of solidarity with the Ogun West Senator and Aremo of Yewaland, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) and the entire people of Ilaro kingdom.
