The grand premiere of AY’s highly anticipated movie, “The Waiter”, was a star-studded affair, with Nollywood’s biggest names in attendance.

The movie, which hit cinemas nationwide, was celebrated with a glamorous red-carpet event as beautiful damsels, Shine Rosman and April Chidinma stunned in luxurious outfits that captivated both the audience and paparazzi at the premiere.

While Shine Rosman looked radiant in a gold outfit with a matching tiara, April Chidinma stunned in a bridal gown that blends classic charm and modern allure.

Shaffy Bello brought her signature grace in a green sequined two-piece, just as Anita Asuoha popularly known as Real Warri Pikin kept it sleek in a black suit, white shirt, and a white clutch. The likes of Bucci Franklin, Boma Akpore, Ramsy Nouah and Kunle Remi, all showed up in tailored suits and cool outfits that matched the evening’s refined vibe. Indeed, it was a star-studded affair, with many A-listers in attendance, including Rita Dominic and Yul Edochie’s estranged wife, May Edochie who turned heads , while walking the red carpet.

Despite kicking off behind schedule, the celebrities, who showed up in different luxurious Rolls-Royces, brought their A-game in jaw-dropping outfits.

AY, the comedy genius and Executive Producer, arrived in style, dressing as a waiter with a sophisticated twist. He expressed his excitement for the film’s release, stating that “The Waiter” is not just a comedy but also has many teachable moments. He emphasized the importance of resilience, humility, and finding one’s purpose in unexpected places.

Producer Darlington Abuda described “The Waiter” as the best in the Akpos franchise yet, with ramped-up action elements to make it more enthralling. He emphasized the importance of crafting an experience that resonates deeply with the audience.

“The Waiter” is the latest installment in the Akpos franchise, starring AY, Deyemi Okanlawon, Shaffy Bello, Shine Rosman, Toke Makinwa, Obi Cubana, May Edochie, Regina Daniels, and more. The movie tells the story of Akpos, who finds himself waiting in a five-star hotel.
