In a proud moment for Nigeria’s tech community, Rank Bank has honoured Mofe Ejegi, a seasoned software engineer and mobile development expert, with a prestigious Media Recognition Award as one of the Top 50 Tech Professionals in Africa.

The celebration, held in Lagos, marked Rank Bank’s continued commitment to spotlighting innovation and excellence across Africa’s digital ecosystem. Mofe Ejegi, who hails from Delta State, received special recognition for his outstanding contributions to mobile technology and financial innovation.

Currently serving as Senior Android Engineer at Banque Misr, Mofe plays a pivotal role in shaping user-centric mobile experiences in the FinTech space. His work has been applauded for integrating secure, scalable, and high-performance mobile systems that enhance digital banking for users across markets.

Beyond his role at Banque Misr, Mofe is an active member of the Andela Talent Network, a global marketplace for vetted digital talent, and a contributor to the global Kotlin community on Slack, where he shares insights and research—especially around Kotlin Multiplatform and the evolution of Android technologies.

Rank Bank’s award ceremony gathered top tech innovators, industry stakeholders, and media personalities, all united in recognizing individuals driving Africa’s digital transformation. Mofe’s recognition is not only a personal triumph but also a nod to the growing talent pool emerging from Nigeria’s tech scene.
