SOKOTO – Constituents of Yabo/Shagari federal constituency in Sokoto State celebrated the commissioning of several constituency projects by their representative in the House of Representatives, Hon. Umar Yusuf Danmaje, during a two-day inspection tour on Wednesday and Thursday.
The projects, funded by the National Assembly’s constituency appropriation, include water schemes, classrooms, and solar-powered streetlights across 20 political wards in the area.
Hon. Danmaje, also known as Danmaje, assured the people that more development would follow. He highlighted completed projects, including six blocks of classrooms, 20 solar-powered boreholes, solar streetlights, and a 5-kilometer road in Yabo, Mandera, and Gangam. He also outlined plans for future projects in education, healthcare, water, roads, and electricity.
Some of the benefiting towns and villages include Lambra, Rinaye, Doruwa, Darin Guru, Sebore, Ginga, Mandera, Gangam, Dalijan, Dandin Mahe, Horo Birni, and Yabo.
Danmaje called for continued support from the electorate and emphasized the importance of protecting the completed projects. “These projects are your property; please take good care of them,” he urged.
He concluded by reiterating his commitment to delivering more dividends of democracy and thanked the constituents for their confidence in him.
