The primate and spiritual leader of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church of Christ (The Worshipers), Apostle Johnson Koledola Kunlipe, has urged Christian faithfuls and other well-meaning Nigerians to be full of prayers for God to intervene in the economic hardship faced by many.

Fielding questions from newsmen during his installation as the Primate and Spiritual Leader of C&S Church of Christ, yesterday at the church’s headquarters in Lagos, the new General Superintendent, Dr. Kunlipe, while urging Nigerians to be patient with the President Bola Tinubu-led government, posited that with prayers God will change the narratives.

He said:“We should be full of prayers because it is only God that can reverse the situation. We need to have faith and believe in God instead of attacking ourselves and people that can’t change the narrative. By the grace of God, things would change for the better.

“The President is doing his best, but when you get to a worse situation, you cannot turn things around overnight. The success we can achieve would depend on the cooperation with the government. It is the wish of God that they are there. So everybody is praying, but one day our prayers will be heard”.

It would be recalled that the installation of Primate Johnson Koledola Kunlipe as the new General Superintendent of the church by the leadership of Cherubim & Seraphim Church of Christ was to replace the late Primate of the church, His Grace Primate Ethiopia Ayenumelo Omoshehin, who peacefully transitioned on Tuesday, 11th June 2024 at the age of 87 years .
