Henkel Nigeria, a subsidiary of the German multinational company Henkel, has successfully delivered engaging science training sessions to pupils of Aanuoluwapo Primary School and Progressive Primary School in Agege.

The initiative was part of Henkel’s renowned Forscherwelt (Researchers’ World) programme, designed to ignite scientific curiosity and foster a practical approach to learning among young students.

The interactive sessions combined practical experiments with dynamic discussions, making complex scientific concepts accessible and exciting.

Henkel employees, alongside Ms. Adebayo-Soliu Modinah from Girls and Women Empowerment and Technological Organization (GWETO)—a partner NGO—ensured a vibrant and inclusive learning experience for the pupils.

Managing Director of Henkel Nigeria, Rajat Kapur, emphasized the company’s dedication to education and sustainable development in Nigeria.

“Through our Forscherwelt initiative, we aim to inspire the next generation of scientists by making learning both fun and impactful.

“The training sessions at Aanuoluwapo and Progressive Primary Schools are part of our broader mission to empower young minds with knowledge that extends beyond the classroom.
“We are proud to collaborate with GWETO to make this vision a reality,” he said.

Henkel staff played an active role in facilitating the sessions, ensuring the pupils were fully immersed in the hands-on experiments. The participating schools expressed heartfelt gratitude for Henkel’s impactful contribution, noting the transformative nature of the program.
