Chidi Okeke has spearheaded several projects, including the construction of a clean water facility that serves many residents of Umunobe, sponsorship of students at all levels of education, and support for local infrastructure improvements.
He also facilitated a free medical outreach in the village and supported the completion of a toilet facility at CSS Ogbunka.
Hon. Frank Offor, a former Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development in Anambra State, described Chidi as a role model.
“He is a young man with divine vision and a heavenly mission for his people. Keep doing good. Surely, heaven will reward you,” he said.
Another community member, Caleb Nwankwo, expressed gratitude, saying, “This is wonderful. Chidi’s great efforts are what we pray for in our land. May God continue to bless you.”
Ebuka Ukaegbu also commended him, adding, “God bless you, brother. Keep up your good work.”
Local writer Obinna Okoro, who authored an article celebrating Chidi’s efforts, highlighted his quiet yet impactful contributions. “Chidi Okeke is a noiseless full container, making a significant difference without seeking recognition. His actions are a call to others to invest in the growth of our community,” he wrote.
Okoro also encouraged other young people in the community to follow Chidi’s example, emphasizing that true legacies are built through service to humanity.
