The Governors of Lagos, Ogun, and Imo States, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Dapo Abiodun, and Hope Uzodimma, respectively arrived in Edo State on Tuesday to attend the inauguration of Senator Monday Okpebholo as the new Governor of Edo State.

Senator Okpebholo and his deputy, Dennis Idahosa, were sworn in today.

The oath of office was administered by the Chief Justice of Edo State, Daniel Okungbowa, in a ceremony held at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.

Both officials pledged to uphold the constitution, govern within its principles, and prioritise the welfare of the people of Edo State.
