Temvert, Spectrangle donate to Osun pupils with special needs

The Temvert Empowerment Foundation, in partnership with Spectrangle Foundation, has donated school materials to some Osun State primary school pupils with special needs.

The foundations, on Tuesday in Osogbo, donated the materials to the pupils of Osun State Primary School Persons with Special Needs.

The donated materials, numbering over 500, included exercise books, pens, pencils, whiteboard, among others.

The founder of Spectrangle Foundation, Segun Olatunde, in his statement, reiterated his interest in empowering persons with special needs.

Olatunde stated that the foundation is dedicated to supporting persons with disabilities in every area they can.

The Spectrangle founder added that their partnership with the Temvert Empowerment Foundation is an effort to ensure that they have a world where equal access to quality education is a right and not a privilege.

“It is sad that children with disabilities do not often get the support they need to access quality education. When we are talking about equal access to education, persons with disabilities should not be left out,” Olatunde said.

The founder of the Temvert Empowerment Foundation, Temitayo Olatunde, appreciated the partnership and called for more collaboration in advocating equal access to education in Nigeria.

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Temvert Empowerment Foundation, Adepitan Abdulrasheed Adetunji, said they are still committed to their key objective of ensuring educational access to all children.
Adetunji further said they have demonstrated this by donating over 500 school materials to the students of Osun State Primary School Persons with Special Needs.

He stated that through their partnerships, such as the one with Spectrangle Foundation, they aim to bridge the gap in educational resources for special needs students and look forward to continuing their work to make a positive impact in the lives of exceptional students.

“By providing tailored support and resources, we hope to empower these remarkable students to reach their full potential,” Adetunji said.

The headmistress of the school, Mrs Oladosu, appreciated the foundations for their benevolence and kind gesture towards the pupils. She said the materials will be put to good use for the teaching of the students.
Another staff of the school thanked the foundations for the donated materials, especially the whiteboard, which she said will help with teaching and learning.

Margaret Olaide Adetoye, who led the project, said, “The materials we donated to the students are part of the current needs of the school. It is thrilling that the project was a success and I appreciate every individual involved.”
