Rep Bichi receives honorary doctorate from Federal University Dutsin-Ma

The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on House Services, Rep. Dan Amos, has extended his congratulations to Rep. Abubakar Bichi on receiving an honorary Doctorate degree from the Federal University, Dutsin-Ma, in Katsina State.

Rep. Bichi, who serves as the representative for Bichi Federal Constituency and chairs the House Committee on Appropriations, was recognized over the weekend for his significant contributions to the university, including funding infrastructure projects and providing scholarships for students in his constituency over the past five years.

In a message personally signed and shared Monday morning, Rep. Amos, who represents the Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency of Kaduna State, commended Rep. Bichi for his dedicated service to his constituency and his contributions to national development.

“I am thrilled to extend my warmest congratulations to you on receiving an honorary doctorate from the Federal University Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State. This prestigious recognition is a well-deserved acknowledgment of your tireless efforts and exemplary leadership in promoting good governance and development in Nigeria. Your commitment to your constituents and the nation at large is truly inspiring,” Rep. Amos wrote.

Rep. Amos highlighted Rep. Bichi’s achievements in infrastructure development, education, and healthcare, noting that his efforts in transparency, youth empowerment, and development have set a positive example in his constituency.

Other notable Nigerians honored by the university over the weekend include Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu; Senate President Distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio; and former Governor of Sokoto State and current Chairman of the Senate Committee on Security, Senator Aliyu Wamako.
