Peter Oboh

Former British, Commonwealth and WBA Inter-Continental light heavyweight boxing champion Peter Oboh has thrown his hart into the ring and challenged Jake Paul to a fight. Oboh who held sway as a triple champion between 2002 and 2004 said he is ready to fight Jake Paul anywhere.
Jake Paul defeated Mike Tyson in a unanimous point decision last week. But Oboh is unmoved, claiming that he will defeat the YouTuber should the fight take place.
Reviewing the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight, the former pugilist turned pastor observed that both fighters showed quality but insisted that “Tyson took a risk due to his age and rustiness.”
Said he, “ However, a university professor can always handle a primary school pupil.”
Continuing, the former boxer said, “I was impressed by both fighters. Tyson was there to fight but could not maintain the pace. Initially, I thought he was there just for the money but as the fight progressed, I saw that he didn’t want to lose.”
He said both fighters surprised each other. “When he got hit by Tyson he was surprised. Same feeling for Tyson after getting the first punch from Jake Paul and both were determined to end the fight on a high. But if Jake was a world class fighter, he could have stopped Tyson. The guy is good in a way. Tyson survived to the end because of his experience. After the third round, Tyson’s body was no longer responding.”
He made a bold claim. “I can beat a lot of people with my experience. A man like Jake Paul, I can put him away, even without training. However, to be on the safe side I will train before the fight,” he said, insisting, “it should be winner takes all.”
