The exhibition themed ‘Whispers of Wonders’, which opened yesterday, November 6, in Le Marais, Paris, is billed to last till November 10, 2024, and will bring together a diverse array of artists from around the world, according to organisers.

‘Twin Bond’, according to the artist, shows the connection and oneness of twin siblings whose bond transcends the ordinary.”
“Being a twin is like being born with a best friend. They share a primary attachment that is irreplaceable and forms a lifelong attachment,” the artist told Vanguard over a telephone interview.
She went on: “They’re together from birth and experience all of life’s moments together including how they learn to socialise.
“They support each other. Their closeness is not just physical but with deep emotional and spiritual kinship.
“In totality, this painting, Twin Bond, captures the essence of two souls finding each other a mirror, a confidant, and a partner in the dance of life.”
Omon, who says her primary desire for is to inspire women and girls through her works, is well exhibited in Nigeria and internationally, and her works can be found in important collections.
Widely known for her thought-provoking works which typically centre around themes such as womanhood, childhood, environment, identity and contemporary societal issues, Omon Sophia has, over the years, positioned herself as a notable figure in the global art community through her works.
