The Christian Central Chapel International (City of Testimonies), Calabar, recently hosted a grand celebration as venerable clerics, political elites, traditional leaders, members of the press and numerous guests congregated to witness the historic installation and elevation of a distinguished man of God to the esteemed position of Archbishop.
This momentous grand finale, capped off a week-long celebration honoring Archbishop Emmah Gospel Isong’s installation, alongside four significant milestones: his 60th birthday, 40 years of ministry and dedicated service to God, 35 years of marital bliss and 15 years as Bishop, collectively known as the “5-Star Celebration.”
The occasion drew high-calibre men and women led by revered Archbishops from Nigeria and abroad who conducted the installation rites.

Governor Bassey Otu, described Archbishop Emmah Isong as a true man of God and a blessing to the State.
He lauded the host for his legacy in nurturing people in the ways of God and promoting good values
“God has used this man to bless Cross River State in numerous ways. You have guided our men and women toward God’s path. Your success story is a lesson for us all” Otu remarked.
During the event, the Governor Otu announced reappointment of Archbishop Isong as Chairman of the Cross River State anti-tax agency, renewing his role from the previous administration.
On his part, Governor Umo Eno commended Archbishop’s tireless commitment to the church, underscoring the importance of patriotism in driving Nigeria’s advancement.
As a cleric himself, Pastor Eno stressed that cultivating a sense of national pride and responsibility was essential for the country’s progress.
Following his investiture, Dr. Emmah Gospel Isong, General Overseer of Christian Central Chapel International and newly consecrated Archbishop, expressed gratitude to attendees.
He specifically acknowledged Governors Bassey Otu and Umo Eno, as well as the delegation of ArchBishops and Bishops who travelled from across the state and country to join in the celebration.
Archbishop Isong expressed heartfelt appreciation to his beloved wife, Bishop Helen Enyinma Emmah-Isong and other servants of God for their moral and spiritual support, which has significantly contributed to the prosperity of the City of Testimonies’ family.
The Archbishopric investiture ceremony featured two notable side events: the unveiling of ‘Diamond from the Rough’, Archbishop Isong’s latest book, and a soulful musical performance by the Sound of Abundance Music Group, whose soul-stirring melodies filled the air.
The installation ceremony was attended by several distinguished guests, including Hon. Akiba Ekpenyong, member representing Calabar Municipality/Odukpani Federal Constituency in the House of Reps, Prof. Anthony Enoh, Secretary to the Cross River State government, and his Akwa Ibom State counterpart, Prince Enebong Uwah.
